Whew. I finished! My first week- complete! I feel like I should get a trophy for completing this week. It was a way fun week though, I thoroughly enjoyed it :) And I honestly thought I was exaggerating when I said how much I'd be at the library. I wasn't. Thursday, I spent 6 straight hours there (here actually).
Six hours.
Yeah, me. At the library for six hours. The nursing program has changed me already.
But the program is amazing. I'm going to love it. I love how I'm instantly friends with everyone in the program. We are able to get along so easily, because we are all going through pretty much the same thing, and went through tons to get here. And when you know for the next 4+ semesters we're all going to be in classes together, it gives you a pretty good incentive to start getting to know each other. So while I may gripe and groan about my homework/stress level, and lack of a social life; just know that I'm truly loving it and am so grateful I can be in it. (And please remind me of it when you see in the library with my stack of books and my eyes glazed over!)
And my other classes should be way good also. I'm taking microbio which I'm stoked for- it sounds interesting and like half the class are nursing students. Then there is Teachings of the Living Prophets- which should be a fun class- and its much better than the previous religion class I was in.
And lastly- Social Dance.
You have permission to laugh.
But think about it- a class with no homework. Perfect right? Right.
And want to know my good news for the day? I finally finished unpacking! (Applause please!)
